Minor Attendance Policies:
Minors (anyone under the age of 18) attending events MUST:
- Attend with a parent or legal guardian
OR
- Attend with another responsible adult and have a valid SCA Medical Authorization for Minors AND a completed Minor Waiver signed by the parent or guardian
Note: llinois state law requires at least one witness or notarization for the Medical Authorization form to be valid
Note: The Minor having a Blue Card removes the need for the separate Minor Waiver.
Without a parent, legal guardian or valid Medical authorization form & completed minor waiver, minors will not be allowed to attend the event. We cannot make exceptions to this policy. Please refer to the Middle Kingdom Minister of Youth page for more information.
The youth and temporary guardian must each have a copy of the Medical Authorization form on them.
