About the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA)
The Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) is an inclusive community pursuing research and re-creation of pre-seventeenth century skills, arts, combat and culture. The lives of participants are enriched as we gain knowledge of history through activities, demonstrations, and events.
Throughout the world, members gather at events and meetings to share resources and enthusiasm. Almost every aspect of these ancient times is studied and enacted in Arts and Sciences competitions and martial tournaments. Whether you would become a warrior, scholar or artisan, seeking new friends or seeking activities for the whole family, there is a place for you. Come take a step back in time.
